    MUNICH (Germany) - The third gameday of the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers is complete and it served up a big chunk of upsets and spectacular debut performances. Bulgaria, Luxembourg and Switzerland all claimed famous wins, while Jessica Shepard of Slovenia, Khaalia Hillsman of Bulgaria and Amanda Cahill of Luxembourg all showed out in a big way on their respective debuts.

    Thursday evening also witnessed the first ever Qualifiers attendance of more than 10,000 as Belgian fans packed into Antwerp.

    Bulgaria stun Hungary; Luxembourg make surprise statement

    Bulgaria leaned on their new arrival Khaalia Hillsman for their first win of the campaign as they claimed an 83-68 upset win in Hungary to inflict a first loss of the campaign on their opponents.

    Hillsman finished the contest with 25 points and 12 rebounds, with scoring machine Borislava Hristova also amassing a 25-point haul.

    Luxembourg boosted their chances of making next year's big show for the first time after a stunning 71-49 success against the previously perfect Montenegro. Amanda Cahill dropped a stunning 32 points in her first outing.

    Jessica Shepard posted a monumental debut effort for Slovenia as they eased past Finland 84-62.

    The frontcourt ace racked up a performance efficiency valuation of 46 after a staggering double-double of 29 points and 23 boards.

    There was also something of a surprise win for Switzerland who took down Bosnia and Herzegovina 81-62 on the road behind 19 points from Evita Herminjard.

    Türkiye are loving life with a 4-0 record as they moved closer to qualification off the back of Teaira McCowan racking up 24 points in a 101-54 win against Romania.

    Meanwhile Serbia, Spain and France also racked up the wins they needed to stay flawless and will look to now go 4-0 on Sunday.
