European basketball royalty showed out in Zagreb to honor the legacy of an icon of the game ahead of his 60th birthday anniversary.

ZAGREB (Croatia) - Some of the biggest names in European basketball came together to honor the legacy of the late, great Drazen Petrovic.

Luka Doncic was among those in attendance at the memorial game in Zagreb, as well as legends such as Toni Kukoc, Dino Radja, Vlade Divac, Nikos Galis, Stojko Vrankovic.

There were more than 15,000 spectators for the event in advance of marking what would have been Petrovic's 60th birthday next month, with the FIBA Hall of Fame inductee having sadly passed away in 1993.

FIBA Europe President Jorge Garbajosa, FIBA Executive Director Europe Kamil Novak and FIBA Senior Director Zoran Radovic - who was a former teammate of Petrovic - were the FIBA representatives present.

Petrovic was a three-time Olympic medalist and was also a FIBA EuroBasket and FIBA Basketball World Cup title winner in 1989, and 1990, respectively to highlight just some of the many achievements in a glowing career that was tragically cut short.

A hologram of Petrovic was projected onto the screens during the memorial game, which featured current national team stars such as Dzanan Musa, Mario Hezonja and Tornike Shengelia as Team Drazen took on Team Croatia.

There was also a gala held prior to the Memorial Game as many greats of the game were able to share their tributes.
