MUNICH (Germany) - There were plenty of great individual performances all over the continent on Thursday, as eight games opened up proceedings in the November window of the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers.
Points
Croatia picked up an 89-76 win over their neighbors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, which could be crucial in the fight for one of only two spots available next to the hosts Cyprus in Group E.
They have their 28-year-old forward to thank, as Luka Bozic enjoyed the ovation from the Zagreb crowd after his impressive performance.
He had 25 points, the most on the day, knocking down 9-of-11 shots from the field, including 4-of-6 from three-point range, and also going 3-of-4 from the free throw line.
Bozic's efficiency rating of 34 tied the highest mark of the Qualifiers, matching the output of his teammate Roko Prkacin, who had the same rating against Cyprus back in February.
Rebounds
Finland lost a close encounter against Georgia, but as the hosts of the FIBA EuroBasket 2025, they already know they will be in the main draw.
They had two players getting the most rebounds on the day, with Olivier Nkamhoua and Alexander Madsen grabbing 10 rebounds each, Nkamhoua also scoring 22 points, while Madsen flirted with a triple-double with 8 points and 7 assists also to his name.
Finland lost the game 90-83, but have a chance to respond in Georgia on Sunday.
Assists
The top of Group H belongs to Estonia, ahead of Lithuania, North Macedonia and Poland. The man responsible for Estonia's third win in as many games was Kristian Kullamae, making all the right moves on the road in Poland.
He finished with 11 assists, including the game clinching one, when he found Kaspar Treier all alone in the right corner to make it a two-possession game in the closing seconds, stunning the packed stands in Wloclawek.
Kullamae had 13 points and 6 rebounds, too, and Estonia were a +12 team with him on the floor. Amazing number, considering it was a four-point (82-78) game.
Steals
There were six players with 5 steals in a single game during the February window, and Damjan Stojanovski became the seventh one to get that number, picking the Lithuanian pockets five times on Thursday.
Unfortunately for Stojanovski, the game was a one-way street, Lithuania getting an 82-67 win, putting North Macedonia at risk of elimination.
Another Lithuania win paired up with another Estonia win on Sunday would mean those two teams advanced to the FIBA EuroBasket 2025, along with the hosts Poland.
Blocks
Five different players had two blocks on Thursday. Aleksandar Lazic for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Alexander Madsen for Finland and Antonios Karagiannidis for Greece got them in losing efforts, while Giorgi Shermadini and Balsa Koprivica blocked a pair to help Georgia and Serbia pick up road wins, respectively.
