ZARAGOZA (Spain) - The first-ever EuroLeague Women Final Six will witness an eclectic mix of players stepping out at the event, with no fewer than 22 different countries due to be represented in Zaragoza.
Domestic players and coaches from the nations of those qualified clubs make up a significant chunk, with Tango Bourges Basket featuring at least 10 French players and Valencia Basket Club fielding as many as seven Spanish ballers.
France have the highest number of representatives across the Final Six with 21, followed by Türkiye and Spain who have 12 and 10 representatives respectively.
Meanwhile, the long standing tradition of USA players positively impacting the competition continues, with five set to take part. There are also a small number of ballers who have been naturalized by other nations.
