The 2024 SuperCup Women game between Besiktas and Fenerbahce OPET in Istanbul today was suspended two minutes into the first quarter, because of fans’ behaviour in the stands.
After consultation with the leadership of both clubs and taking into consideration the safety of the players and team delegations, FIBA Europe has decided that the game will resume at the same venue tomorrow, Thursday October 3, at 16:00 local time (15:00 CET) but behind closed doors and without the presence of fans.
