EuroLeague Women 2024-25 Regular Season groups, Qualifiers pairings drawn

    The draw to decide the Regular Season groups and Qualifiers pairings took place in Munich on Thursday.

    MUNICH (Germany) - The stage is now set for the 2024-25 EuroLeague Women season after the completion of the draws for the Qualifiers and the Regular Season on Thursday.

    A total of 19 clubs - representing nine different National Federations - have registered this campaign, which will be played in a brand-new format. Direct berths to the Regular Season have been granted to 13 clubs, with six competing in the Qualifiers.

    The ceremony was attended by FIBA Europe President Jorge Garbajosa and FIBA Executive Director Europe Kamil Novak, with former EuroLeague Women champion Zsofia Fegyverneky assisting with the drawing of the teams.

    The groups for the Regular Season are as follows:

    Group A Perfumerias Avenida (ESP) Beretta Famila Schio (ITA) DVTK HUN-Therm (HUN) Winner: ELW Qualifiers - Pairing 3

    Group B CBK Mersin (TUR) Tango Bourges Basket (FRA) Olympiacos SFP (GRE) Winner: ELW Qualifiers - Pairing 1

    Group C Fenerbahce (TUR) Villeneuve d'Ascq LM (FRA) KGHM BC Polkowice (POL) Winner: ELW Qualifiers - Pairing 2

    Group D ZVVZ USK Praha (CZE) Valencia Basket Club (ESP) Umana Reyer Venezia (ITA) Uni Gyor (HUN)

    The pairings for the Qualifiers are as follows:

    Pairing 1: TARR KSC Szekszard (HUN) vs Zabiny Brno (CZE) Pairing 2: Casademont Zaragoza (ESP) vs CSM Constanta (ROU) Pairing 3: Basket Landes (FRA) vs Besiktas JK (TUR)

    The Qualifiers will be played in a home and away series on September 18 and 25 in three pairings of two clubs each, with the winner of each pairing advancing to the Regular Season.

    Meanwhile, the losing teams will feed into the EuroCup Women Regular Season with the groups for that competition also drawn on Thursday.
