    ZARAGOZA (Spain) - History is about to be made with the first ever EuroLeague Women Final Six providing an exciting platform for some of the best players in the world to fight it out for the illustrious trophy.

    Where is the EuroLeague Women Final Six taking place?

    The end of season tournament is taking place in Zaragoza, Spain between April 9-13. It will take place at the renowned Principe Felipe Arena in the first year of a multi-year deal to host the event.

    Who is playing in the EuroLeague Women Final Six?

    Tango Bourges Basket are looking for a first Semi-Finals place since 2013

    There are five different nations represented at the event. Fenerbahce Opet and CIMSA CBK Mersin are flying the flag for Turkish basketball, while the home soil Spanish representation comes from Valencia Basket Club. They are joined by Beretta Famila Schio of Italy, Tango Bourges Basket of France and ZVVZ USK Praha of Czechia.

    What is the format of the EuroLeague Women Final Six?

    Fenerbahce Opet have already secured their place in the Semi-Finals

    Two teams have already booked their place directly to the last four of the competition in the shape of Fenerbahce and Valencia, who won their Semi-Final Play-Ins. They will be joined by the two victorious teams who emerge from the Quarter-Finals. The winners of the Semi-Finals will then play in the title game on the last day, when the 2025 champions will be duly crowned.

    Who are the reigning EuroLeague Women champions?

    Fenerbahce are the holders and have won the last two titles, which means they are chasing a three-peat. This is something only ever achieved previously in the modern era by the famous two Russian powerhouses of Sparta&K M.R. Vidnoje (2007, 2008, 2009) and UMMC Ekaterinburg (2018, 2019, 2021).

    Last year, Fenerbahce overwhelmed first-time Finalists Villeneuve d'Ascq LM at the Final Four in Mersin, Türkiye.
