    There were some standout displays as the battle to make this year's Final got underway.

    MUNICH (Germany) - The first leg games of the Semi-Finals witnessed plenty of ballers producing some brilliant individual performances as they all competed to take their respective teams one step closer to the Final.     It was a memorable night for BAXI Ferrol and their fans who loved watching their team swarm all over LDLC ASVEL Feminin and produce a famous 93-62 success that sets them up for a maiden Final in the competition at the first attempt.

    Ferrol catch fire to stun ASVEL in Semi-Finals; Villeneuve slip past Sopron

    It was Irish frontcourt ace Claire Melia who reigned supreme in the contest as she attained the highest performance efficiency valuation of the week at 28 after pouring in 27 points. She went a super 11 of 15 from the floor and added 4 rebounds and 3 assists.

    Two of her Ferrol teammates underpinned her headline-making display, with Blanca Millan recording one of her best outings of the campaign. She harvested 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to make the Top Performers lineup - as did Julie Pospisilova with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.

    In the other Semi-Final, it was Villeneuve d'Ascq LM who got onto the front foot with a 73-66 win at Sopron Basket. Shavonte Zellous brought the noise, with the guard racking up 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.

    Meanwhile, Jelena Brooks kept Sopron in the hunt for a Final place with an excellent showing at both ends of the court which resulted in 18 points and 6 steals.
