MUNICH (Germany) - The matchups for the Semi-Finals of the 2024-25 EuroCup Women season were finalized on Thursday.
BAXI Ferrol, LDLC ASVEL Feminin, Sopron Basket and Villeneuve d'Ascq LM all made it through the last eight stage with aggregate victories.
2023 champions ASVEL pulled off another comeback to overturn a five-point first leg deficit as they knocked out Spar Girona, while French compatriots Villeneuve d'Ascq LM - winners in 2015 - held off a fightback from last season's runners-up Besiktas JK to advance.
Sopron prevented a third French side from making the Semi-Finals, despite losing the second leg to BLMA, and they were joined by Spaniards Ferrol, who add another chapter to their memorable run on debut from the Qualifiers.
The Semi-Final pairings are as follows:
LDLC ASVEL Feminin (FRA) vs BAXI Ferrol (ESP) Villeneuve d'Ascq LM (FRA) vs Sopron Basket (HUN)
Each tie is played across two legs with the highest-seeded team from the Regular Season rankings earning home advantage for the second leg.
The Semi-Finals are set to take place on March 6 and 13, with the Finals starting at the end of March.
