Double-overtime delight for Crvena Zvezda; Trzeciak the hero for Lublin

Crvena Zvezda enjoyed one of their most famous European nights as they crept past ACS Sepsi-SIC 76-70 in an intense double-overtime saga.

Madison Williams top scored with 17 points but it was Aleksandra Katanic who was at the center of the party after securing a near triple-double of 13 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds.

A last gasp block from Olga Trzeciak proved to be the decisive and game-winning play for Polski Cukier AZS Lublin as they took a dramatic 63-62 success at Panathinaikos. Her timely intervention sealed the deal, with Laura Miskiene also continuing her good form with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Charnay Basket were also victorious on their travels as they completed a 76-66 upset at Bodrum Basketbol off the back of a headline 23 points from Monique Akoa Makani, with teammate Kayana Traylor dropping an essential cameo of 17 points.

Elitzur Ramla collected their first win on Tuesday evening but in their double-header with VBW Gdynia, the Polish side extracted sweet revenge by taking an 80-67 win. That was despite Alexis Prince again being incredible for Ramla and scoring 33 points. But Gdynia had their own big-hitter in Stephanie Jones with 25 points and 8 rebounds.

It was similarly compelling when Spar Girona locked horns with NKA Universitas Pecs and came away with a narrow and hard fought 74-71 road win. They got it done in crunch time and there were a couple of epic performances with Chloe Bibby racking up 27 points, 6 assists 4 rebounds and 4 steals in victory, while Julia Reisingerova was sensational with 26 points and 12 boards in defeat.
