    The second week of EuroCup Women action concludes with plenty of talking points to pour over.

    MUNICH (Germany) - There were plenty of Spanish smiles on Thursday night as all three clubs in action racked up eye-catching victories on their travels, while Polish club MB Zaglebie Sosnowiec are turning heads with their early season performances. Hozono Global Jairis, Movistar Estudiantes and IDK Euskotren all got it done to take road wins to make it a perfect night for Spanish basketball in the competition.

    Spanish trio hit the heights on their travels; Sosnowiec still sizzling

    Hozono Global Jairis are looking like they could be primed for a deep run in this year's tournament after they attained an impressive 83-58 win at Polski Cukier AZS UMCS Lublin.

    Petra Holesinska and Morgan Bertsch were the main architects, with the former putting up 24 points and Bertsch 16 points and 6 rebounds.

    IDK Euskotren managed to grind out the win at ACS Sepsi-SIC

    IDK Euskotren were too good for ACS Sepsi-SIC as they collected a hard-fought 62-54 victory. In a defensively dominated encounter, the veteran know-how of Swedish center Louice Halvarsson was essential and she returned a team best 11 points and 7 rebounds.

    Movistar Estudinates flattened Iraklis STIHL 109-41 and there were plenty of positives to pick from, with German young gun Frieda Buhner dropping 20 points and 9 rebounds, while Liliana Banaszak had a super 14 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists.

    It's been a super start to the campaign for MB Zaglebie Sosnowiec and their second success came in the shape of a 74-54 win at TTT Riga. Kamila Borkowska was again hugely influential with 16 points and 16 rebounds.

    Fitik too hot to handle; Malonga and Musa get it done for French duo

    Goksen Fitik could barely miss for Galatasaray Cagdas Factoring as they took down SportivaAzoris Hotels 84-52 to show they mean business this season. The Turkish star shot 80 percent from the floor en-route to 23 points.

    Dominique Malonga is a colossus and the French national team young gun is showing her teeth at club level with LDLC ASVEL Feminin. They strolled past Levhartice Chomutov 86-50 with the center contributing a superb 21 points from 10 of 14 shooting and completing a double-double with 13 rebounds.

    There was also a victory for another French team in the shape of Tarbes Gespe Bigorre as they beat recent EuroLeague Women Qualifiers entrants TARR KSC Szekszard 68-59. Nigeria national team powerhouse Murjanatu Musa was brilliant and returned a monumental 23 points and 18 rebounds to help secure the win.

    Elsewhere, Bodrum Basketbol dug themselves out of a hole with a huge 31-15 last quarter helping them beat Piestanske Cajky 79-63. Similarly, the game was in the balance between Spar Girona and La Molisana Campobasso but the former posted a strong finish to win 74-66.
