Impressive throughout the tournament, USA denied France a first-ever title as they recorded their seventh consecutive win in Minsk.
Aliyah Boston top scored with 16 points in a balanced attack as five players hit double figures for USA including Jordan Horston, who added 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals to 12 points.
USA set the tone early on at both ends of the floor as they raced out to a 16-2 start. With Iliana Rupert held scoreless in the first half, the outside shooting of France through Zoe Wadoux and Marine Fauthoux kept the deficit to under 20 points going into the interval.
USA's 46-28 half-time lead ballooned past 30 points in the third period as they continued their dominance with Aliyah Boston reaching double figures in scoring as Rupert was forced to sit because of foul trouble.
They managed to double up their opponents by the end of the third quarter as they took a commanding 70-35 advantage into the final frame.
USA were able to start the celebrations in the fourth, emptying their bench with 6 minutes remaining as they went on to complete a comprehensive victory to add another title to their successes in 2010, 2012 and 2014.
