Verameyenka triple-doubles her way to Top Performer honors

MUNICH (FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019 Qualifiers) – Belarus delivered an offensive masterclass against Estonia, cruising to a 113-63 win on the road to boost their chances of qualifying for FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019.

Six players returned double-digit scores, but it was post player Anastasiya Verameyenka stealing the spotlight in Tallinn. Having demonstrated a fine form early in the EuroLeague Women season, the Fenerbahce star continued to impress in the national team dress, collecting a triple-double of 19 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists for an efficiency of 39.

A regular in Top Performer lineups, Alina Iagupova came the closest to Verameyenka's mark with an efficiency rating of 38. The 26-year-old forward top-scored with 32 points and added 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals to lead Ukraine to an 86-60 win in Bulgaria and keep her side in the mix for next year's Final Round.

Bosnia and Herzegovina also kept their chances alive by upsetting Montenegro 83-68. Marica Gajic left her mark on the game with an outstanding double-double of 17 points and 27 rebounds, topping her previous game-high, 19 boards, to set a new record in the Qualifiers.

There was joy in Switzerland, as Czech Republic remained perfect with an 88-53 triumph to become the first of five teams to book an early bird ticket to the FIBA Women's EuroBasket. Karolina Elhotova led the way with an all-action 20 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals.

Saturday's Top Performer lineup is completed in the backcourt by Hungary's Zsofia Fegyverneky. The seasoned guard needed only 23 minutes to amass 21 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals, as the Hungarians trounced Albania 139-27.
