Holding their fate in their own hands, Great Britain got the job done with an 83-42 win over Portugal to top Group D and punch their ticket to the Final Round. Johannah Leedham underlined her leadership qualities with an all-action 18 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals.
There were also smiles in Belgium, as Emma Meesseman led the home side to a crucial 66-62 triumph over Czech Republic. The 25-year-old collected 19 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists to ensure a FIBA Women's EuroBasket berth for the 2017 bronze medalists.
Joining her in the frontcourt of the Top Performer lineup is Glory Johnson after she posted an outstanding double-double of 27 points and 16 boards, while also adding 3 steals and a pair of blocks in Montenegro's 82-68 win in Slovakia. The Montenegrins clinched top spot in their group to qualify for next year's championship.
Bosnia and Herzegovina edged out Iceland 84-74 to finish second behind Montenegro but were one of the two unlucky runners-up to miss out on the Final Round. Forward Marica Gajic had left a mark on the Qualifiers and bowed out with another impressive stat line, with 13 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals and 4 blocks to her name.
Iceland guard Helena Sverrisdottir found herself on the losing end, but could find some consolation in earning Top Performer honors after flirting with a triple-double, finishing the game with 22 points, 14 rebounds, 9 assists and 3 steals.
