MUNICH (Germany) - The second window of the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2021 Qualifiers could see some nations having their dreams come true, with others seeing their hopes go up in smoke.

Sweden can possibly qualify if they win their game on Sunday. However head coach Marco Crespi and his players may have this opportunity taken away from them 48 hours before they take to the floor. That's because Sweden firstly need Israel to beat Montenegro on Friday for a chance to clinch early qualification.

Game To Watch

With Sweden looking potentially dominant due to their talent and depth, the Montenegro and Israel game looks hugely important to determine who will be their main challenges.

It could be a return to Final Round for the first time since the 1990's for  Bosnia and Herzegovina if they manage to beat both Estonia and Russia. Although their possible progression is also dependent on Switzerland losing both of their games in this window.

Game To Watch

Bosnia and Herzegovina against Russia could be an epic. Opportunity knocks loudly for Bosnia and Herzegovina, while Russia will have to deal with the pressure of avoiding an unwanted double defeat against their rivals. They will be boosted by the return of Raisa Musina who missed the opening window and has spoken about the need to keep the Russian Final Round legacy alive.

Czech Republic could rack up yet another appearance at the Final Round if they win both of their games, but this also hinges on Romania losing twice. Perhaps that is a tall task, since it would require Denmark to produce what would be the biggest surprise of the Qualifiers so far if they were to get a win on the board.

Game To Watch

Even if results don't go the way of the Czech Republic, much hinges on a mouth-watering match-up against Italy. They won the first encounter and so will be bracing themselves for the Italians coming into this one on a revenge mission. Although they have much to prove, with a new head coach in Lino Lardo who has decided to omit leading star Giorgia Sottana.

Who could punch their ticket already?

Serbia can't formally stamp a Final Round pass with two wins, but they would move to the cusp of progressing. The group has been shortened for this window due to Albania not participating.

Game To Watch

Assuming Serbia navigate a tricky contest with Lithuania, they will get the chance to try and do the double over Turkey in what is shaping up to be arguably the most appealing game of the entire second window. This is crunch for Turkey since another loss could leave them sweating on their Final Round place ahead of February. Failure to progress would be a disaster, since they have made the last eight in a row.

While in every group above we have picked out a game to watch, forgive us for picking a pair of games for Group I. It smells like a three-way tie could be brewing and it might be ultra tight. Latvia surely hold the key in this window and they will have a big say as they play both Germany and Croatia - both games look huge for all three nations involved.
