    North Macedonia to forfeit February 2021 window games

    MUNICH (Germany) - The Single Judge of FIBA Europe has taken a decision regarding the games affected by the non-participation of North Macedonia in the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2021 Qualifiers.

    MUNICH (Germany) - The Single Judge of FIBA Europe has taken a decision regarding the games affected by the non-participation of North Macedonia in the February 2021 window of the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2021 Qualifiers due to COVID-19-related disruptions.

    The national team of North Macedonia forfeits games against Latvia and Croatia and, as stipulated in the Competition Regulations of FIBA Europe, is subsequently disqualified from the remainder of the competition.

    All the results of the games played against North Macedonia are void and will be cancelled.

    As communicated previously, Group I will be played with three teams only in the February 2021 window.

    FIBA Europe office will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation in Europe on a daily basis and communicate further updates regarding the competition when necessary.
