    Russia: In-form and ready to go

    MOSCOW (Russia) - It has been an impressive phase of preparation for Russia and on current form, they look like they could be a possible contender at the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019.

    MOSCOW (Russia) - It has been an impressive phase of preparation for Russia and on current form, they look like they could be a possible contender at the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019.

    They have named their final roster for the event and as expected, it is the incredible talent of young Maria Vadeeva which stands out the most. She has racked up some super numbers for her country ever since bursting onto the scene at the 2015 edition while just 16-years-old.

    Her UMMC team-mates and fellow EuroLeague Women 2019 champions Elena Beglova, Evgeniia Beliakova, Raisa Musina and Natalia Vieru have also been called up by head coach and  ex-Ekaterinburg play-caller Olaf Lange.

    There are also a trio of EuroCup Women 2019 winners to call upon, in Ekaterina Fedorenkova, Anastasia Shilova and Zhosselina Maiga.
