Latvia will rely heavily on TTT Riga players such as Kristine Vitola and Ieva Pulvere, who helped their club team post such a great 2018-19 season in EuroLeague Women.

Combo guard Elina Dikaioulaku will bring great experience and that will help several of the younger players such as the talented NCAA duo Digna Strautmane and Luize Septe,

Meanwhile one of the most interesting additions has been Karline Pilabere, who has caught fire in the friendly games, since parachuting late into the preparation camp.

Latvia will go up against Great Britain, Ukraine and defending champions Spain in Group A.
