    Event ambassador Natasa Kovacevic bonds with children at special needs schools

    BELGRADE (Serbia) – FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2019 ambassador Natasa Kovacevic has been bonding with tens of children at a number of special needs schools in her homeland of Serbia.

    BELGRADE (Serbia) – FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2019 ambassador Natasa Kovacevic has been bonding with tens of children at a number of special needs schools in her homeland of Serbia.

    As part of an extensive program by the Serbian Federation to promote not only the event itself, but also basketball in  general to people from all backgrounds, Kovacevic had great fun with the participants.

    They all who enjoyed being out on the floor and learning new skills, with Kovacevic herself delighted to be able to visit and engage in such a positive project.

    She said, “We had a wonderful time and this is just an example of the charitable events that we have planned leading up until the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019, which will be held in Serbia and Latvia.

     
    "I had an amazing time with the kids and I think we spent a lot of great time learning some fundamental basketball skills. Now I can't wait to spend time with more kids and to continue with these events.

    The children were fantastic as they had so much positive energy and I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to do it all over again," added Kovacevic.
