    Lauren Jackson jumps to stunning 600 point landmark

    SYDNEY (Australia) - Lauren Jackson has racked up another career milestone after the legend became only the third player in FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup history to net 600 points in the competition.

    SYDNEY (Australia) - Lauren Jackson has racked up another career milestone after the legend became only the third player in FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup history to net 600 points in the competition. 

    Stepping back into the tournament after a 12-year gap for a jaw-dropping fifth edition with Australia, she got the three points needed on opening night against France to hit the new high tide mark.

    The huge home crowd loved seeing their hero back in action wearing the famous gold and green with the entire Arena erupting when Jackson scored from downtown late in the first quarter.
