Tall Ferns' Purcell was unstoppable against Taipei

BENGALURU (FIBA Women's Asia Cup 2017) - When New Zealand looked like they were on the ropes against Chinese Taipei, rising star Kalani Purcell stepped up big time.

The 22-year-old scored 16 of her game-high 22 points in a sterling second half effort that reversed the Tall Ferns' fortunes. Aside from scoring, Purcell also tallied 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 blocked shot.

The versatile 1.85m forward has gotten better with each passing game, and she should be one to watch in the Quarter-Finals and beyond.
