BENGALURU (FIBA Women's Asia Cup 2017) - Japan was in dire need for someone to step up in the Women's Asia Cup Final, and it was Saki Mizushima who answered the call.

This is Mizushima's first foray in the Women's Asia Cup and had scored just 18 points total before the Final, but she picked the perfect time to display her unorthodox but effective shooting stroke. The 1.72m lefty perimeter player connected seven times from beyond the arc on her way to scoring 26 points and leading Japan to their third Women's Asia Cup title in a row.
