Argentina commence preparations for FIBA Women's AmeriCup 2019
Head Coach Leonardo Costa and 15 players from Argentina’s 20-player preliminary list began preparations for the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup 2019 at the Centro Nacional de Alto Rendimiento in Buenos Aires.

Argentina’s preliminary list for the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup features players that were instrumental in Argentina’s historic South American 2018 title win, along with players that recently participated in July's FIBA U19 Women’s Basketball World Cup 2019 in Thailand(*).
Argentina was selected to Group B of the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup 2019 along with Paraguay, Colombia, Brazil, and USA.
The Argentinians will begin the continental championship against Brazil. The team coached by Leo Costa will then face Paraguay, USA, and Colombia to close-out the Group Phase of the Women’s AmeriCup 2019.
The top two teams from the group will advance to the Semi-Finals on September 28. The Final of the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup will be played on September 29.
