These standout performances were more than just numbers - they were moments that defined games, lifted teams and kept the AfroBasket dream alive.

FIBA.basketball brings you, in no particular order, the players who brilliantly carried their teams.

    Jean-Jacques Boissy (Guard/Senegal)

Jean-Jacques Boissy is becoming a name to be reckoned with on the continent.

He came off the bench to help Senegal book their ticket to the 2025 AfroBasket with a game-high 19 points and an efficiency of 20, hitting 4 of his 8 attempts from behind the arc and 3 of 4 from the charity stripe.

Senegal routed Rwanda 96-73 to remain perfect at 4-0.

    Jeremiah Hill (Guard/Cameroon)

Hill showed his all-round scoring ability with 14 points on an efficient 4/8 from the field, including 3/6 on two pointers and 1/2 from three point range.

He was flawless from the charity stripe (5/5) and rounded off a near-perfect performance with a stellar 24% efficiency while dishing out five assists.

Rolly Fula Nganga (Small Forward/DR Congo)

Rolly Fula Nganga was one of the most important players in the showdown against Mali, and he made good use of his time on the court.

He helped DR Congo reach the AfroBasket finals by contributing 16 points, hitting three of his four attempts from behind the arc and grabbing 7 seven rebounds to go with a steal for an efficiency of 21.

Jo Lual-Acuil Jr (Power forward/South Sudan)

In his first appearance for the Bright Stars of South Sudan since 2021, Jo Lual-Acuil Jr was brilliant.

South Sudan needed a spark and Acuil provided it.

In just under 25 minutes, he scored 21 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and added 2 steals to finish with an impressive efficiency of 24. His ability to control both ends of the floor helped South Sudan find their rhythm.

    Matt Costello (Forward/Côte d’Ivoire)

Côte d'Ivoire were just one win away from qualifying for Angola.

And they booked their ticket to the AfroBasket thanks to Costello's brilliant display in the 18:50 minutes.

He spent on the court against Madagascar. He scored a game-high 20 points on 24% shooting, while also adding 1 assist and 1 block to his 6 rebounds.

    Honorable mentions:
