BEIRUT (Lebanon) - One week remains until the second window of the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers and the teams are getting ready to return to the stage to secure their spots at the flagship event in the region.
So far, none of the teams have secured their tickets through the Qualifiers yet, but that might not be the case at the end of this November win. There are a few teams that could already celebrate a qualified spot in Saudi Arabia next year, if they do their job in these two upcoming games.
Here's a look through each situation at hand to keep an eye on:
Group A
Australia will qualify with 2 wins.
Group B
The Philippines will qualify with 2 wins or if they beat Hong Kong, China and New Zealand get 2 wins.
New Zealand will qualify with 2 wins or if they beat Chinese Taipei and the Philippines get 2 wins.
Group C
Japan will qualify with 2 wins.
Group D
Jordan will qualify with 2 wins.
Saudi Arabia are already qualified as hosts of FIBA Asia Cup 2025.
Group E
Iran will qualify with 2 wins or if they beat Qatar and Kazakhstan get 2 wins.
Kazakhstan will qualify with 2 wins or if they beat India and Iran get 2 wins.
Group F
Lebanon will qualify with 2 wins.
