There are major events coming up in the FIBA 3x3 calendar in 2025.

MIES (Switzerland) - The much-anticipated 3x3 season started with a bang after amazing back-to-back major events launched 2025 in style.

The first-ever Champions Cup provided a spectacular opening before the eighth edition of the Asia Cup in Singapore was the best in tournament history. Such heroics on the half-court has whet the appetite of 3x3 fans hungry for more thrilling action.

We've got great news because this is just the start of what will be the biggest ever year for this growing game that is reeling in new fans all over the globe.

As we tick into April, circle the calendars because the men's pro circuit starts with the Baoding Challenger on April 12-13.

A number of superstars will be in action including Paris Olympic MVP Worthy de Jong and 3x3's newest sensation Ryo Ozawa who scored 20 - yes, 20! - points in a single game during a heat check at the Asia Cup.

The countdown then starts for the showpiece Utsunomiya Opener, which launches the 14th season of the World Tour on April 26-27, and features the top 10 ranked teams on the planet plus four sides from host Japan.

The action then quickly moves to the Chengdu Masters as part of the 14 stops on this season's World Tour.

There will be a short break mid-season for the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2025 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on June 23-29 as 3x3's biggest event returns after a hiatus last year due to the Olympics.

Continental championships in Europe, Americas and Africa will be played in the backend of the year.

The women's pro circuit starts in Chengdu on May 2-3 and followed soon after by a stop in Amsterdam - where Champions Cup winners Canada will be out in force to continue their strong form to open 2025.

There will be 13 stops on this season's Women's Series - which has gone from strength to strength since starting in 2019.

Also keep an eye out for the talented youth coming through with the Nations League and the FIBA 3x3 U23 World Cup in September.
