Emma Cannon did absolutely everything she could to try to inspire KGHM BC Polkowice to a surprise home win against Valencia Basket Club as she amassed the best performance efficiency valuation of the week at 27. That came from a standout double-double of 25 points and 17 rebounds, although her team just came up short in a 66-56 defeat.

One of the reasons for this was the work of Valencia guard Yvonne Turner. She led her side to a road victory with an all-action effort of 10 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals.

CBK Mersin are one of only two teams left in the competition who proudly boast an unbeaten record, although they almost stumbled at Perfumerias Avenida. They escaped with a narrow and absorbing 75-73 success in Salamanca as veteran guard Yvonne Anderson carried them over the line with 21 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals.

The other club yet to taste defeat this season is Fenerbahce Opet, although were almost toppled by ZVVZ USK Praha who were led brilliantly by center Brionna Jones. While Praha were ultimately squeezed out 75-71, she caught the eye with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 2 steals.

It was a similar story for Steph Kostowicz of Zabiny Brno who was on the wrong end of a 76-68 loss to Beretta Famila Schio, but still starred with an impressive haul of 10 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists.
