    Undefeated Kuwait Club fulfill destiny, emerge as inaugural WASL-Gulf champions

    BEIRUT (Lebanon) - Kuwait Club fulfilled their destiny by becoming the inaugural WASL-Gulf champions following a sweep of Manama in the best-of-3 Final.

    BEIRUT (Lebanon) - Kuwait Club fulfilled their destiny after becoming the inaugural WASL-Gulf League champions following a 95-85 Game 2 victory over Manama in the Final,  Monday night at the Khalifa Sport City in Bahrain.

     

    Marcus Georges-Hunt scored 14 of his season-high 35 points in the fourth quarter, helping his side close the best-of-3 series out and clinch the title by way of a 10-game sweep -- a feat that will surely be tough to match in years to come.

    Cody Lalanne delivered 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Hamad Hasan and Omran Jawhar added 14 and 10 markers, respectively, in the golden finish.
