    WABC Level 1 coaching workshop conducted in Kuwait

    Two women among 13 coaching aspirants participate

    BEIRUT (Lebanon) – The FIBA Regional Office – Asia recently conducted a WABC Level 1 coaching clinic in Kuwait City. The clinic organized by the National Federation & Sport department of the Regional Office saw 13 participants. Two of the participants were women in the clinic conducted by WABC instructor Safa Kamalian.

    The clinic covered both on-court and off-court topics as outlined in the FIBA WABC Level 1 Coaches’ Manual. Participants were assessed throughout the course and evaluated through final written and practical tests.

    “In general, the course was excellent, the instructor was very respectful and ethical, and he was extremely cooperative. The scientific material was useful and excellent,” said a Waleed AlSelmi a participant.

    “The content was useful and varied, and I wished we had more time to benefit and discuss,” said Abir Krayem.

    Islam Mohamed Nouby Mohamed Hassan said: “The scientific material was very useful and we learnt a a lot from it.
