MIES (Switzerland) - Fist week of the Play-Ins in the 2024-25 Basketball Champions League season is now in the books, and now that we've digested Tuesday's and Wednesday's action, Thursday brings us a chance to reflect on the best individual performances.
The 11th Team of the Week this season consists of Wesley Van Beck, Jaylen Barford, Hugo Besson, Chase Audige and Ebuka Izundu.
Van Beck came off the bench to spark Aliaga Petkimspor's run towards a narrow 82-81 win over Hapoel Netanel Holon in a game played in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Barford tied Sek Henry's all-time record in the BCL for most threes without a miss, hitting 7-of-7 to steal homecourt advantage as his Pallacanestro Reggiana defeated Telekom Baskets Bonn in Germany.
Besson inspired the remarkable 14-0 Manisa Basket run in the final two minutes of the game to stun NINERS Chemnitz and escape with a one-point win. The French guard hit the game-winning three-pointer, as well.
Audige was another man picking up a road win, and he was just one assist away from a double-double as Filou Oostende silenced Nanterre 92's fans in France.
Izundu needed just 19 minutes off the bench to change everything for Galatasaray against Saint-Quentin Basket-Ball, deserving himself a place in the center position of the Team of the Week.
You can now vote for the Player of the Week. The winner will be announced on Friday, when the poll closes, on the official BCL social media channels: Facebook, X (Twitter) and Instagram.
