    USA set a new record after beating Croatia at the FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2024.

    LEON & IRAPUATO (Mexico) - USA continued to rearrange the record books as they booked their third group phase win of the FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2024 in Mexico. The Americans hardly broke a sweat in their 123-42 win over Croatia in Group C.

    Coach Meg Barber's squad was unrelenting on defense, forcing 45 turnovers thanks to a record-setting 30 steals. That is now the all-time single-game record for steals in the competition's history. Jordyn Palmer had six steals, while Jacy Abii had sive swipes of her own in a dominant defensive showing.
