    CLEVELAND (NBA) - The Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday extended qualifying offers to Serbian swingman Sasha Pavlovic and Brazilian forward Anderson Varejao.

    Both players were integral parts this past season for the Cavs, who reached the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history.

    By extending the offers, Pavlovic and Varejao both become restricted free agents. But the offers also give the Cavs the right of first refusal on re-signing each.

    Pavlovic averaged 9.0 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 67 regular-season game. The 6-2 Serbian averaged 9.2 points in 20 playoff contests.
    An energy player, the 6ft 10in Varejao averaged 6.8 points and 6.7 rebounds in 81 games. He averaged 6.0 points and 6.0 rebounds in the Cavs run to the Finals, where they were swept by the San Antonio Spurs.
