The final
USA 20 - 17 Dallas 3XBA
We had a rematch of the Pool phase game for the final, and stakes were high. It was a back and forth affair to start, Dallas taking a slight advantage early thanks to Hempe and Bietrick. The Olympic duo of Van Lith and Burdick combined well for important buckets to get them back into the tie.
Action kept swinging between the two sides, with each player contributing in tandem. Kennedy leveled things up with just over halfway to go. It was at this juncture at which team USA found their rhythm, Burdick and Taylor got consecutive buckets while Van Lith earned her side more opportunities with her drives.
In a flurry, the score was 17 - 9 to team USA as they seemed poised to take home the win. Dallas fought back however, as they rallied with clutch points from Zimmerman, Davis and Hempe. A two from Dietrick pulled the difference to just one but it was all for naught. Burdick drained two clutch free throws at the last second to hand USA their redemption and a stop win at Quebec.
