VIENNA (AUSTRIA) - The selections are in for USA Basketball as they announced their selections for the men’s and women’s 3x3 World Cup set to take place in Vienna, Austria on May 30 - June 4.

It is a fascinating mix of youth and experience on both sides as the men’s team comprises the same unit as the one that captured Gold at the FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup last year. Canyon Barry, Jimmer Fredette, Kareem Maddox and Dylan Travis will hope to extend their success from last year as they take to the court in Vienna.

Barry and Maddox will lead the sides, both having competed in the gold-winning side at the 3x3 World Cup in 2019. Travis’ experience with Omaha 3Ball aided the team at last year’s AmeriCup and will look to add to the nation’s success in the competition. Jimmer-Mania will make its World Cup debut with Fredette bringing his basketball experience to Austria.

On the women’s side, Cameron Brink, Cierra Burdick, Linnae Harper and Hailey Van Lith will represent team USA.

Burdick and Harper, with their combined decades worth of experience in 3x3 basketball will form the backbone to their success with Stanford’s Brink and collegiate star Van Lith bringing the energy and pace to the game.

The two star-studded teams will light it up as team USA tip off the group stages on May 30.
