While fans get excited about the latest edition of the NBA All-Star Game, many will also be keeping a watchful eye on the young talent that shows up at the Basketball Without Borders Global camp hosted by FIBA and the NBA.

SAN FRANCISCO (USA) - A fresh crop of young and exciting basketball players are preparing to take hoops by storm, whether it's FIBA ball, the NBA or in professional leagues around the world.

Many of them will be on show at the ninth annual Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Global camp, which takes place February 14-16 at the Golden State Valkyries Performance Center.

The event, sponsored by Nike, brings 40 of the top high-school-age prospects from around the world for on-court development, 5-on-5 games and life-skills development programming.

NBA Coaching Development Program members Juan Dixon, Yolanda Moore, Damon Jones and Emeka Okafor will oversea the event.

The complete camp roster will be announced this week.

A whopping 116 BWB campers have made it to the NBA, including the 27 current NBA players that participated in BWB Global.

Will Riley, now a freshman guard at Illinois, MVP of last year’s camp, while Duke freshman big Khaman Maluach of South Sudan won the playoff and defensive MVP awards.

Maluach played for Sudan at the Men's Olympic Basketball Tournament Paris 2024.
