    TEAMS

    UB HUISHAN NE (SRB)

Fresh off a stop win in Amsterdam, the reigning World Tour champs came out swinging in Macau. The Serbian side took down Kandava in their opener. Strahinja Stojacic put up 8 points while Nemanja Barac added 5 in their 19 - 16 win.

They took on San Juan next in what was a closely fought battle. It was another masterclass from Stojacic though as he put up 12 points, including a cold ankle-breaking dagger to take down the Puerto Rican side 21 - 19.

With momentum firmly on their side, Ub will be looking to add yet another stop to an impressive season.

    PRINCETON (USA)

The American side were another team to go 2-0 on the day as they handled business against stiff competition.

They took on a dominant Riffa side in the opener and picked up a 21 - 19 victory. Damon Huffman and Jerome Desrosiers combined for 14 points in the result.

They faced Wuxi next and the same result followed, a 21 - 18 win. This time, it was newcomer Justin Pierce who took over with an 11-point outburst.

    LIMAN (SRB)

A on-fire Liman got the job done in Macau with a perfect display on Day 1. They swept past Partizan in their opener 21 - 11 with Marko Stevanovic and Aleksa Stojanovic combining for 13 points.

Mihailo Vasic put up 8 points in their win over Saitama next as they got the 21 - 15 win to seal pool play undefeated.

    PLAYERS

    STRAHINJA STOJACIC (Ub)

The World Number One was in fine form for his side on Day 1. He put up a team-high 20 points as his offensive firepower led Ub to a perfect 2-0 record.

He put up 8 points in a gritty win over Kandava before exploding for 12 in a battle against San Juan.

Also leading his side in player value, the Serbian star ran the show as he would look to continue his form on their way to another stop win.

    FABIAN GIESSMANN (St. Pauli)

The young German sensation brought his dominant ways to Macau as St. Pauli made a meteoric rise from QD action to a Quarter-Final berth. The efforts of Giessmann were all too important to their success.
