SAN JUAN (Puerto Rico) - Hoops powerhouse USA have named formidable men's and women's rosters for the FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup 2024 on December 12-15. USA, as expected, have dominated the short history of the competition with two titles apiece for their powerful men's and women's teams. The men's team are out for revenge after their dreams of a three-peat ended with a shock quarter-final exit last year.
They have rebuilt the team with only Mitch Hahn returning, while Olympian Dylan Travis is back having won gold during USA's triumph at the FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup 2022.
USA have added some new blood to regain their continental crown with their latest stars James Parrott and Henry Caruso eying gold. Scoring machine Parrott was on fire for Miami (USA) and emerged as one of the very best players in the world after claiming two MVPs on the World Tour 2024.
Caruso is an absolute excitement machine and he's become the talisman for legendary Princeton. A new American duo will be formed in San Juan and all eyes will be on how they develop chemistry.
USA women's team have an amazing record in this tournament and are the defending champs. The Americans have decided to unveil their unbelievable depth of talent as a slew of WNBA stars step on the half-court.
Azura Stevens is taking her talents to the half-court and she's ready to flat out dominate with the Wilson. The Los Angeles Sparks player is raring to go and she could well be a favorite for the MVP.
Dallas Wings player Madison Siegrist is a walking bucket and she will be lights out from deep, while Brittney Sykes, who you've seen dazzle for Washington Mystics, has insane handles and will do crazy things with the Wilson in her hands.
While Abbey Hsu is a New Gen player we're excited to watch and she'll enter with her confidence sky high having been selected with the 34th pick by Connecticut Sun in the 2024 WNBA draft.
