For over two years, South Sudan didn't know the meaning of a loss in African basketball.

DAKAR (Senegal) - From August 27, 2022 to Sunday, November 24, 2024, South Sudan reigned supreme in the African basketball scene, beating seven countries in one ore two occasions.

And by the time FIBA updated its World Ranking last August, South Sudan jumped from 34th to 23rd, overtaking Côte d'Ivoire, to become the No.1 team in Africa.

Sunday, November 24, 2024 marked the end of South Sudan's unbeaten run.

Here's a timeline on South Sudan's unbeaten run.
