Montevideo and Aysen to host the South American U15 Championships 2018

MONTEVIDEO, AYSEN (FIBA U16 Americas Championships 2019) – The International Basketball Federation in the Americas confirmed today that Aysen, Chile and Montevideo, Uruguay will host the South American U15 Championships 2018.

The South American U15 Women’s Championship 2018 will be played October 29 to November 3 in the Chilean city of Aysen and will feature the participation of the National Teams from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela.

The South American U15 Championship 2018 will be played November 6-11 in Montevideo, Uruguay and will feature the participation of the National Teams from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela.

The top three teams from the South American U15 Women’s Championship will qualify to the FIBA U16 Americas Women’s Championship 2019.
