MONROVIA (Liberia) - Game-day 3 marked the end of the Group Phase of the ongoing Women's Basketball League Africa (WBLA) Zone 3 Qualifiers in Monrovia, Liberia.
The Semi-Finalists emerged as Friends Basketball Association (FBA) will battle it out against Energie Basket in the first game and Customs take on MFM in the second game.
From the three teams in Group A, FBA of Cote d'Ivoire with 4 points from 2 games and MFM of Nigeria 3 points from the same number to qualify and Invincible Eleven is eliminated
In Group B, Nigeria Customs lead with a 3-0 record and are followed by Benin national league champions Energie Basket on a 2-1 mark.
SOA of Cote d'Ivoire 1-2 and Commissioners of Liberia got eliminated.

Energie send SOA packing
This all important game which SOA eliminated with a score of 84-43 started slowly with both sides failing to find the basket in the first three minutes until Afetse Elisabeth opened the score with a 3-point shot to set the tone for a dramatic game.
She eventually ended the game with 20 points to her credit.
Though SOA found their rhythm to take a first quarter lead at 17-14 but the resumption of the second quarter saw Energie contain their flow and take control of the game ending it at 20-7. The third and fourth quarters were no different as it ended 29-10 and 21-9 respectively.
The Benin champions forced SOA to 23 turnovers in the game that saw Kondoh Aishatou record a game-high 21 points with Doumbia Counbia adding 17 and Arouna Nassarath recording a double-double score of 16 points, 10 rebounds for her side.
Societe Omnisport de L' Armee (SOA) had no player ending the game in double figures as their highest scorer emerged in the person of Ehounou Marina with 8 points and an end to their dream of hitting the Final Round in Dakar next month.
Customs win by default to progress
Nigeria Customs practically had a stroll in the park with an 80-18 win over Liberia champions Commissioners Basketball club.
Sadly, the game ended in a default in the fourth quarter owing to foul troubles for the Commissioners with seven of the eight players fouling out at the start of the fourth quarter.
FBA confirm Semi-Finals spot
Invincible Eleven had nowhere to hide in their last game of Group A as their effort to take consolation win went up in flames for a second loss.
FBA secured a 111-29 win to go 2-0 and top of the group setting up a clash with in the Semi-Finals against Energie on Saturday.
The one-sided encounter had the Invincible Eleven condemned to 40 turnovers while they committed 23 fouls in the process.
FBA, under the guidance of Coach Lemou Pape Benga, did not relent in unleashing several plays on the Liberia side.
Berthe Saran led in scoring for his side with 21 points while the trio of Konate Aminata 19, Tounkara Djelika 17, Sangare Makoro 16 and Savadogo Aminata combined for 86 points.
The Invincible Eleven players were all kept under 10 baskets with Angela Koinah with 8 points being the highest.
