    Rosters confirmed ahead of FIBA U18 Women's Asia Cup 2024 tip-off

    Teams in both divisions are all set.

    SHENZHEN (China) - Lineups of the teams competing in both divisions of the FIBA U18 Women's Asia Cup 2024 have been confirmed ahead of tip-off.

    Reigning champions Australia banner Division A, which also features hosts China, Japan, Korea, Chinese Taipei, New Zealand, Indonesia, and debutants Malaysia.

    Division B, on the other hand, is composed of Samoa, the Philippines, Lebanon, Iran, Hong Kong, China, Kyrgyzstan, and Maldives.

    The 8 teams in each division are split it into two groups, with each team playing the others in a single round-robin format in the Group Phase set on June 24-26.

    The top-ranked teams of each group will head into the Semi-Finals on the 29th.

    Teams that will finish as the second and third seeds in their groups, meanwhile, will play in the Qualification to Semi-Finals on the 28th.

    The four Semis teams in Division A will book their tickets to the prestigious FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup set next year in the Czech Republic.

    Winner of the Division B, on the other hand, will earn the coveted promotion and see action in Division A in the next edition of the U18 Women's Asia Cup.

    The Final is set on June 30.
