Riga lead the ULE 3x3 field ahead of Stop 2
ST PETERSBURG (Russia) - Stop 2 of the United League Europe kicks off this week following an exciting Stop 1 that saw Riga take the title.
ST PETERSBURG (Russia) - After a crazy start to the World Tour, we head back to St. Petersburg for the United League Europe Stop 2 on March 30-31, 2021.
At Stop 1, Riga continued their 3x3, dominance winning all five of their games, including two wins vs. Tri Zvezdochki, the eventual runners-up.
Karlis Lasmanis lead all scorers with 41 points, a Stop 1 record, and MVP honors went to Nauris Miezis, who is going to need to build a new wing of his house for all his silverware.
Tri Zvezdochki, which entered Stop-1 as the 9th seed, shocked Novi Sad and Team LT (which included 3 of 4 players from Utena Uniclub) before losing to Riga in the final. They return with a renewed confidence amongst another talent-packed field.
The 12-team league returns following the Doha Masters 2021 this past weekend, culminating in the first-ever World Tour victory for Amsterdam, defeating Novi Sad in the final.
Lucky for everyone, these two teams are slated to meet again in Russia, with Amsterdam heroes Alvin Slagter (Doha Masters MVP) and Maksim Kovacevic playing for Team NL in Pool B.

In the return to World Tour action Novi Sad and Dusan Bulut reminded everyone why they are still a force to be reckoned with, making it back to the finals, doing GOAT things once again. After losing in the quarterfinals in Stop 1, the Serbian team is looking to get back to the winner's circle and avenge their loss against the Dutch.

At Stop 2, Riga return as the top seed with Novi Sad, Gargarin, and Tri Zvezdochki leading the rest of the pools.
But the talent runs deep in Russia.
AS Monaco 3x3 welcome Kevin Corre to the squad, with his years of World Tour experience and a monster inside game. Team LT return with Gintautas Matulis and Vytautas Sulskis and six Russian sides including Cop Moscow and Moscow Inanomo bring the hometown edge.
