Although Angolan internationals Olimpio Cipriano, Milton Barros and Pedro Bastos combined for 53 points in the losing cause, Emmanuel Quezada was the man of the game, inspiring the Angolan National Army-funded side with a game-high 21 points.
The triumph ended D'Agosto's six-year drought, which was mainly dominated by Petro de Luanda and Libolo.

"They were the better team," Libolo head coach Raul Duarte admitted, while his counterpart Paulo Macedo dedicated the victory to the club's fanbase, the board of directors and players.

Following an impressive 34-2 record in the 2017-18 Angolan League Unitel Basket regular-season, the most successful basketball club in Africa - winners of eight FIBA Africa Champions Cup - enter the Final Phase apparently destined to greatness.
It's D'Agosto's 14th Angolan Cup trophy while Petro de Luanda won the competition on 12 occasions.
