SAN JUAN (Puerto Rico) - The draw has been set for the fourth edition of the FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup on December 12-15 as continental bragging rights go up for grabs.
In the men's, hoops powerhouse USA have top billing and the two-time former champs are looking to regain their crown after surprisingly failing to make the podium last year.
Mexico and Uruguay will be early tests in Pool A.
In Pool B, host Puerto Rico will start their title defense against Dominican Republic, who have twice won bronze including at last year's event. The third team in the group will come from QD A featuring Haiti, Cayman Islands, Guyana and Aruba.
