    PANAMA CITY (FIBA Americas Championship) – Team Panama began a series of screemage as parto f their preparation towards the FIBA Americas Championship 2007 in Las Vegas, which will be held from August 22 to September 2.
    Yesterday, the group of players trying to make the final team received a new addition: Jamar Warren, son of Eduardo Warren, former member of the National team.

    Jamar, who can play both as a point guard and shooting guard, will be also trying to make the team.
    At yesterday’s session was also present Gary Forbes, a native from Panama who went to USA when he was a child, and who will be also looking to stay with the team traveling to Las Vegas. 

    Forbes is a 6'7" (220 lbs.) forward, who plays for the University of Massachusetts, in NCAA’s Division I basketball.

    Team Panama will be working non-stop until August 19 (Sunday), when they will be traveling to Las Vegas for the competition.

    Panama will be playing in Group B, alongside Uruguay, Mexico, Argentina, and Puerto Rico.

    Group A will be integrated by U.S. Virgin Islands, Canada, Venezuela, USA, and Brazil.
