There will be a lot of anticipation when Breanna Stewart takes to the court, having played so brilliantly in locking down an All-Star Five spot at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 in her last major tournament appearance.
Meanwhile with a staggering five Olympic gold medals to her name, Taurasi is one of multiple Olympians who will be in Belgium, with the veteran guard making her first appearance since Tokyo 2020.
The other Olympians suiting up are Ariel Atkins, Jewell Loyd, Kelsey Plum, Napheesa Collier and Jackie Young.
Sabrina Ionescu is now eying up an Olympic debut
There is significant continuation from the top of the podium in Sydney 18 months ago, with Stewart, Atkins, Plum, Kahleah Copper, Sabrina Ionescu, Alyssa Thomas all back on the team after lifting the trophy at the Women's World Cup.
The list also includes upcoming stars Aliyah Boston and Rhyne Howard, as head coach Cheryl Reeve prepares the side on the key stopping post ahead of gunning for an eighth consecutive Olympic gold medal later this year.
