    Melisa Gretter
    The Argentine point guard powered her team to a 75-64 win over Cameroon. The 23-year-old not only fuelled the South Americans with a game-high six assists, but she also contribute a team-high 15 points. 

    Endy Miyem
    France forward Miyem was impressive connecting on 6-of-6 field goals to lead France with 14 points at half-time. She went on to finish with a game-best 19 points as France beat Cuba 83-67

    Sun Mengxin
    Sun Mengxin of China had an impressive display, sparking her team with 13 points before the break en route to a team-high 21 points in the process, China edged out Venezuela 77-59. The 1.90m forward connected 4 of 7 three-points.

    Anastasiya Verameyenka and Yelena Leuchanka
    Verameyenka and Leuchanka dominated the painted in a 71-60 win over Nigeria.

    Although Verameyenka only first field goals in the third quarter, the 1.95m center went on to contribute 13 points, 12 rebounds 5 blocked shots. Leuchanka complemented her twin tower with team-best 15 points and 13 rebounds.
