WARSAW (Poland) - Poland will get ready for the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Valencia by playing in several friendly games against national teams preparing for other OQTs.
The Polish Basketball Federation has announced that the Poles, who get their training camp underway in Wroclaw on June 10, will be in Greece from June 20-22 and will square off against the Greeks before traveling to Croatia to take on the Balkan country, and Brazil.
Poland will then wrap up their preparations against the New Zealand Tall Blacks on June 28 in Katowice and the Philippines in Sosnowiece.
Poland will compete in Group B of the Valencia OQT against Finland and the Bahamas, and then potentially meet Spain, Lebanon or Angola. The OQT is being held from July 2-7.
Greece are hosting another OQT in Piraeus, with both Croatia and New Zealand in that tournament field.
Brazil and the Philippines are playing at the FIBA OQT in Riga.
