Stage set for FIBA Women's Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournaments
MIES (SWITZERLAND) - The stage is set for FIBA Women's Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournament action, with the rosters of participating national teams finalized across the five separate regional events.
MIES (SWITZERLAND) - The stage is set for FIBA Women's Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournaments action, with the rosters of participating national teams finalized across the five separate regional events in Africa, Americas and Asia-Oceania.
Hosted in Argentina, Canada, Malaysia, Mozambique and New Zealand, the five tournaments will take place from November 14 to 17 and qualify 10 teams to next year's FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments, where Tokyo 2020 berths will ultimately be decided.
The FIBA Women's Olympic Pre-Qualifying African Tournament will send two teams to the next phase of the qualification process, while the Americas and Asia-Oceania regions will be represented by four teams each.

In Europe, the top six teams from FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019 have already qualified directly to the FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments 2020. These teams are Spain, France, Serbia, Great Britain, Sweden and Belgium.
