LONDON (Olympics) – With Thursday marking exactly one year to go until the beginning of the London Olympic Basketball Tournament, FIBA is giving away 4x2 tickets to watch some of the world’s best players compete in the London International Invitational tournament in the recently completed Basketball Arena.
Hosts Great Britain have invited five of the world’s top teams – Australia, China, Croatia, France and Serbia – to take part in a five-day round robin tournament, that will take place from 16 to 21 August 2011.
With players such as Luol Deng, Milos Teodosic, Ante Tomic, Yi Jianlian, Patty Mills and Tony Parker all looking like they might play, London is certain witness some top class basketball this summer, serving as a perfect appetizer for when things get really serious in one year’s time.
